Vagus City can be found not in our time, but in a time far off in the distant future. A future so different from our own that should we visit it, we wouldn’t even recognise it. A lot of time has passed, and the worst case scenario has happened.

War has ravaged the Earth for a long time now, and some drastic measures have been taken. Biological warfare was used on the reasonably large city, and it was the cause of thousands of deaths amongst the humans. The remaining survivors fled for safer grounds, and they had a perfectly good reason too – But understandably, in their haste, things were left behind. Living things. Not just the buildings remain in the abandoned city – But also, the hundreds of canines that were kept there. The bacteria that so terrorised the humans doesn’t affect their pets in any way, and so the beloved canines were left behind to fend for themselves.

Or at least, so everyone thought. The majority of the dogs that now live in the city of Vagus don’t understand what happened to the people – They don’t know where they went, why they went, or even if the war is still continuing somewhere out there in the world – But a group of them do. A group that knows more than would be expected. Because these are the dogs that have contracted problems from the same source as the humans. Instead of killing the canines, it left them crazed, wild and demented – To the point of being murderous. They lurk in the shadows, roam the streets at night and pick out innocent victims wherever they may find them – But all the while, the rest of the city churns on in relative peace, unaware of the danger simmering under the surface.

The humans are long gone, but what’s left could become even worse. It really is a dog eat dog world – And by the looks of things, you’re on the menu.
